This applies to Win 7 - not sure if it would be same for other Windows/backup versions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Set-up-or-change-automatic-b ackup-settings Apparently there is a "Change Settings" option in the Backup/Restore configuration in Control Panel->System and Maintenance. Just yesterday I was looking at something similar based on the rsync (Linux world) program called DeltaCopy: http://www.aboutmyip.com/AboutMyXApp/DeltaCopy.jsp They also have something called Syncrify that backs up to 'the cloud' - so maybe your 'cloud' could be your NAS.
