We have a 1999 Honda Accord in excellent condition that just blew a brake line. The mechanic says we need to replace all four lines.
1. Is it considered good practice to replace all 4 lines at once or is this an up-sell? 2. Is it worth replacing on a 1999 car which has a average private sale value of $2600 according to Kelly Blue Book? 3. they've quoted us $1700 for the work.
