It hadn't occurred to me that IIS kept its' own logs - I was just
looking at the server logs. (I know a lot more about Linux than Win
server admin, especially Apache vs IIS).

OTOH - it isn't writing to the log at this time. I suspect that it
caches entries before it commits them... seems silly, but I read some
posts about it when googling.

So I am thinking of doing a IIS service restart in hopes it will commit
the logs. But this being a production server in high demand, I'm nervous
doing so.

Is a IIS service restart a quick thing i.e. less than 10 seconds or so
(assuming all goes well) ?
