In terms of what Obama was installed as president to do, you can
consider it "mission accomplished." There is no way to recover
financially from the astronomically exploding debt, absurd
micro-management of the economy, and general tossing of what's left of
the Constitution into the trash bin, at least not for a couple
generations now at this point.

He is now, pretty much, the most powerful person in the history of the
planet -- and the powers of the federal government now are of a nature
and disposition so foreign to the American psyche, that a terrible
national show down is looming.

The people who put this broken, deranged soul in power with the most
effective propaganda campaign ever orchestrated put him there
precisely because he is uniquely capable, psychologically speaking, of
doing things with that power few others would even think of doing.
However, they overestimated his competence considerably, so now there
are some wildcards that are scaring even them at play.

I have long believed that once Obama internalizes the first real
widespread rejection of his Ayers-breathed, make-believe "Dreams of My
Father," New Odysseus persona, the real one would find an open door
and walk through it. We will soon find out. Maybe that inner man is
dead already, and he'll just fizzle out.

Whether that real persona is a hurt little boy seeking his identity
and acceptance, or an angry, vindictive despot wanna-be like his
cousin and election soul-mate, Raila Odinga, remains to be seen.
Personally, I think his inner Raila will be awakened after the
midterms, and it will not be pretty what happens after that. Either
way, the country is going to have a big identity crisis itself, and
soon. It's already in it but will no longer be able to deny it after
Nov. 2.
