I have yet another oddity on the FFC-based application that I 'inherited'. You have no idea what I'd give to re-write this app.
A user this morning is getting a "data validator" error message when she clicks in a dropdown list in Edit mode. I saw it happen. Then she went back into the app and didn't get it. I saw that happen too. There are no field or table validation rules in the dbc, no code in the data environment, the app is working directly with the table so there is no cursor or view involved. I put a set step on the object and walked through the click event code for that object and there is nothing odd going on there. There is no code in the valid event, no parent code in the click event, or any other code that shows in the properties sheet as being [User Procedure] or [Inheritied from.]. No other users were in the system. What the heck is a data validator???
