Hey Joel - I'm also on FB. And, yes - I also find some of those Ads offensive. But, I'm curious if you've also recently started getting some NASTY SPAM type e-mails in regards to FaceBook. Specifically - I am getting these Friend requests - from Females I do NOT know. But, there all Fakes - since, if you click on the picture of them in FB - Each chick has the SAME message asking you to come of view her new pics.
Of course - I do NOT Follow the links in the e-mails I get - in case it's a Bait&Switch scam - making it look like I am logging into FB - when in Fact it's a Fake page getting my login info. Instead, I just logged directly into FB - and go and look at my Messages. It just seems that this is a NEW and even more WONDERFUL type of Spam (yeah - that is Sarcasm you sense)! What will these scammers think of Next! It just never ends...
