This GM IPO is looking worse and worse. If anyone tried to duplicate this 
shenanigan they would be in jail. The latest wrinkle is that GM is now allowed 
to carry forward all their losses of the old GM and claim a tax break for years 
to come. The amount is $45B.

Not only did the taxpayers have to take the initial hit, and then not get the 
benefit of subscribing to the IPO now they have to lose tax revenues of $45B.
