I use Apache on Windows (XP) at my dev machine and until you just mentioned it, I had actually forgotten it was on here. I installed it when I wanted to play around with WordPress for our company intranet stuff and it's been a non-event. It just works.... Of course, I'm the only one that really uses it yet and having all 950 of us hammering the thing could mean something different, but I expect it to be just fine... maybe a tweek here or there...
