It's a long answer. You might start at http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~WritingTheHistoryOfFoxPro~Wiki Fox Software did the initial development, Kerry Nietz recalls the origins here: http://www.hentzenwerke.com/catalog/ftale.htm and Fox grew from 20 to 250 while he watched. All but a handful moved to Redmond when Microsoft merged with Fox Software. I don't think Microsoft had that many over the next decade, and they were always very quiet about that aspect of the business. I think there's something in the indoctrination to join the HiveMind that certain information is not to be disclosed. And, of course, the answer now is easy: zero. So, "it varied." is probably the most correct answer. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
