The TRENDnet Wireless-N IP Camera (TV-IP512WN) looks interesting; although, it might not do everything I mentioned like:
1) Mostly indoor equipment, no pan or tilt that I could find, but it has zoom. 2) It may only be configured using windows IPViewPro app, which I could access from Fedora using XP Pro as a Virtualbox guest. It would be nice if it also had a browser interface for configuration. My TRENDnet wireless print server can be configured from the windows software or from any browser running on any OS, so perhaps it does have browser configuration, which nobody mentioned. 3) I didn't see where the camera supports ext2, ext3, or ext4 Linux file systems, but the camera does support being a SAMBA client, so, I suppose I would need to create a ext4 SAMBA share on my server for the camera to see where to write the video files. 4) IE needs an active X control to work with this camera, but the video codecs are modern with good compression, so it should work OK in other browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc, but I will need to confirm that its OS agnostic.
