I tried that, but no such luck. This is really getting frustrating. I
wish I understood why this refuses to work any longer. I've changed fields
in this table before and haven't had any problems like this.
Any other suggestions?

Since you've recreated the view, and it works, I'd try deleting the view
from the report DE, and then adding it back in. IIRC, I've had to do
that a few times in the past.
