If climate change continues these kinds of events are likely to become common; rather than once ever century or two events. The debate on global warming is settled. Everyone agrees that CO2 level in our atmosphere have been rapidly increasing over the last hundred years, and that the planet is warming. What is still unsettled is, if the effect of rapid global warming over the last hundred years is caused by man, what are we going to do about it, if anything. The side arguing the cure to global warming is so expensive, that it make the cure worse than the disease, seems to be winning. The mantra of this group is "let the planet, and its inhabitants, adapt to global warming, and damn the consequences. As a matter of fact, this group argues global warming will benefit the population by lengthening crop growing seasons, making more CO2 available to plant life, and, I assume they are happy that global warming will also likely reduce a significant portion of the world's surplus population. LOL I find this group's solution gruesome. http://www.scienceclarified.com/scitech/Global-Warming/Global-Warming-and-the-Future.html Regards, LelandJ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
