Hi Everybody,

Back in the days when he was traveling around to user groups and hawking
his software such as "Money Counts" in person Bob Parsons used to be a
nice guy. I can not recommend his damned Go Daddy as he has gotten
WAY-THE-HELL too big for his britches.

I have one domain name registered with his damned Go Daddy registry. He
isn't satisfied with that, he wants to trick his customers into buying more.

Credit cards routinely renew. Both Visa and Master Card also have some
sort of update for automatic payments, which worked just fine and dandy
on my phone bill. Go Daddy, however, insists you to do your "automatic"
renewal the hard way whether your card has recently renewed or not.

Last year, when my card had *not* been due for renewal, they still
jacked me around and made me log in. You have to go through pages and
pages of deceptively designed "special offers" where it is quite
difficult to avoid buying other stuff that you don't need, which is the
whole point of the automatic renewal "not working" - and of course,
somehow remember a password you use once a year.

So, if you want to be jacked around, scammed and f*ucked over, try Go
Daddy. Otherwise, use some other registry. That said, yahoo is even worse.

Fraud on the Internet is still fraud.
