Interesting comments Jeff - as I was thinking along the same lines. Apple app on a Windows OS - means that they would have to code differently. However, the one thing you didn't mention below. iTunes as an App - IMHO - doesn't come close to MS Office - as Office is a full suite of Apps. Which means it's a LOT more work to translate to the other platform. Also - iTunes is a FREE App - where as Office is an OverPriced. Personally, I prefer OpenOffice. Sure, I haven't used it as much as MS Office - which I have used over the years at various jobs - while OO I have basically only used personally on my home PC - and sometimes it is frustrating when I KNOW how to do something in Office - while I have to go hunting in OO. But, at least OO is Free - so, I can't complain too much...

I have all versions of Windows, Ubuntu and Mac on my systems here. On the Mac I could say the same types of things about Microsoft Office and their Outlook substitute. Apple is making ITunes available for Windows users Just like Microsoft makes some of their products available on the Mac. Writing Apple applications that run on Windows makes almost as much sense as writing Windows applications for the Mac. I might add that I use a Creative Labs Zen for my music using Ubuntu.
