I am going to tweak a workflow that runs a document approval process. A FTP folder will receive a compound of three documents to petition the court to put a new piece of business on the docket. One of the files is the true word document. The second one is an indexer file that will provide tracking keys for the document that was just dropped for us to process. The last file is the metadata or an 80 column flat file that helps me identify what this petition covers. The who, what, why types of questions I need to start the pre-process for this request.
If everything checks out I will generate an Order for these people to appear in court. So word doc in with two text files, a whole lot of voodoo and we produce a word doc in the end as well as a transaction in the docket table. There will be a lot of failure routes that need human interaction(s) and this process is to help identify who has to to what. Currently this process may take 5 min to 2 hours depending on what is happening with this Petition. I am excited to do workflow work that requires a little programming in a lot of places. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer CIMSgts 901.246-0159 cell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
