Jerry- I have a PRG that I wrote for a series I did on Office Automation a number of years ago for VFUG. It doesn't exactly address what you are doing but it touches on a lot of neat features of automating Excel (and Word). It shows Inserting rows and such and some other goodies... I'd be happy to send it to you (and anyone else) that wants to see it just for a reference...
