Let's see : 1.the act of irradiating. Mmmm... no, he's not referring to an act. A person might irradiate me (in a hospital), nuclear trash radiates. 2.the state of being irradiated. Nope. 3.intellectual or spiritual enlightenment. None of them may be ever related to lard face. 4.a ray of light; beam. No, it's not a beam. 5.Optics . the apparent enlargement of an object when seen against a dark background. No optics. 6.the use of x-rays or other forms of radiation for the treatment of disease, the making of x-ray photographs, the manufacture of vitamin d, etc. No treatment. 7.exposure or the process of exposure to x-rays or other radiation. If we stretch a lot we might close our eyes and say maybe. But it's not proper or normal use. Don't think Mikey is educated enough. 8.Physics . irradiance. Nope. On the other hand, in the same dictionary we have : http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/radiation 1.Physics . a.the process in which energy is emitted as particles or waves. yes b.the complete process in which energy is emitted by one body, transmitted through an intervening medium or space, and absorbed by another body. Yes c.the energy transferred by these processes. Yes 2.the act or process of radiating. Yes, the nuclear trash is radiating 3.something that is radiated. Yes 4.radial arrangement of parts. No. So, my conclusion is you must be a lawyer, Fred. Such disregard for common sense in favour of verbal artifices (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/artifices) can only come from a lawyer. Please don't be offended, just stating facts. I hope my post irradiates my honest intent. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
