VB6?  Too advanced...  QuickBASIC would be my choice.

I do think it is time to replace the .dbf with some kind of SQL database for
business apps (the .dbf was invented to keep track of bowling scores), even
though it's one of the main reasons FoxPro does so well as a rapid
development tool.  I can also see csv as some kind of
least-common-denominator format for data transmission, but most certainly
NOT as the way to keep your data instead of .dbfs!

A job is a job, though, but if they're really using csv as a data store I'd
try to finish and leave before it falls down around their ears. <g> (What
are they replacing VFP with, VB6?(
