I've posted a new blog entry about writing tests for business objects. Please check it out if this topic interests you. Link follows at the bottom...
I know there are some test frameworks for VFP that have been around for a while, and I plan to dig into them a little further myself, but what this post addresses is partly an attempt to justify (explain) the value of Business Objects in the first place, because using them opens up the possibility of writing tests in one way or the other. So the testing that I demo in the post is quite simple and requires a little bit of manual coding to set up and execute. It's not offered as some perfect system, but I hope the post will at least encourage folks to consider the underlying principals of business objects and testing. http://mattslay.com/writing-tests-for-business-objects-in-foxpro/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/011b01cbe58b$3bb7d7b0$b3278710$@com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
