We use UltraVNC Single Click for remote connections, which works great on XP but slows to a crawl when the client is on Win 7
I found a useable workaround here: http://forum.ultravnc.info/viewtopic.php?t=17690 I've just tested this on an XP and Win 7 machine here, and it works for me.
