...literally. For some odd reason, the HELP is no longer accessible from within VFP9 (sp2) on my WinXP development system.
I press F1, nothing. Type "help" in the command window, nadda. CLick "Help" on the menu bar, then choose "Microsoft Visual Foxpro Help F1" and nuttin. It was working fine until about a week ago, and I'm not aware of any major changes (well, Acrobat has updated about 12 times and of course Java has been updated at least 4 times) but nothing major. I've checked the obvious: TOOLS - OPTIONS - FILE LOCATIONS - HELP FILE is correct and the CHM file it points to will open if you double-click it. I've also searched for the registry entries, and they all seem to be where and what they should be. I tried "set help to" in VFP, which is supposed to reset it to whatever default is....nothing. I even downloaded the new, revised and corrected Help file from the VFPx website. Got the CHM file, still won't open from within VFP9! Suggestions? Thanks!
