No it wasn't aviation related I'm afraid. In fact if I had been flying then it wouldn't have happened.
I was stopped at a junction on my motorcycle waiting to turn right and some tw*t in a white van proceeded to plough into ma about 40mph from behind with the excuse that he didn't see me. Well I reckon that a Kawasaki ZZR1100 with panniers and me with luminous day-glow jacket and trousers would have made me pretty conspicuous, but no. 4 broken ribs, lung puncture and a shattered pelvis later ..... but I'm back on the mend now thanks.
