If the trade deficits stays in China favor. They will still want our debt , only the interests is in question.. All currency will come home and buy goods, services or debt. We don't have many goods or services to sell them, so that leave bonds.

It looks good on paper but the lender does not get back the value he started with; just more dollars. The way the govt. calculates inflation is to include housing. House prices are falling; viola, no inflation.
