Just the drive. No rails. Probably no screws. No backup software. May
or may not include configuration software (which I rarely use anyway).

Check the feedback, looks like a lot of QA issues from Seagate are being
reported on this drive.

NewEgg is a good place to get stuff from. But I am SO glad I'm back in So
Cal where I can go to Fry's or a dozen other computer stores and pick up
hardware locally again. :)

HTH,
Lou

Subject: [NF] Bare Drive

Hi Everybody,

I am considering building a new box. One of the components I am looking
at is

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148395

What do they mean by "bare drive"? Do some of them have clothes on? Or
maybe the little jumpers that you set the pins with come separately?

The last time I did this I got it all at the corner computer parts
store. Now that store and all like it have gone under.

I remember the case had a little bag of stuff that you mostly didn't
need. Still have it somewhere.
