There is a known bug with messagebox changing record pointers and/or selected tables under specific circumstances. I've been bitten by this in grids. If you want interactive feedback, use a wait window or better yet, log your diagnostic info to a text file via strtofile. Whatever you do, do *not* use messagebox for this type of debugging.
