I think I've settled on the netgear prosecure utm5. It costs about $250 bucks with a one-year subscription or $450 with a three-year subscription. It supposedly updates once an hour to prevent all new email and web viruses, trojans, and malware. It's unlimited number of users, so it seems to be cost-effective over using commercial products on every client.
