That's my preference, tpp. Many of my Ruby associates prefer Debian. I
guess it depends on whether you prefer to type 'yum' or 'apt.' For
dedicated, single-purpose machines, I think Debian generally has a
smaller footprint/overhead, but I'm more comfortable and familiar with
the Red Hat style of configs, service commands, etc.
