This is the biggest and most common mistake made by so many students. They don't work while they are in school. Some with say they had to focus on studies, but that is 100% baloney excuse. Many students are just plain lazy. I had close to 2 years of part-time (20-30 hrs a week) real world programming, tech support, and data entry when I graduated with my Computer Science degree. I had no trouble finding work when I graduated. Any student with even one short internship will be ahead of 80% of the people they compete against for a job. Working part-time puts you head of 95% of the competition.
