Arguably the best book ever written about Visual FoxPro, winner of the only Developer's Choice award (http://www.tedroche.com/Photos/DevChoice.jpg) ever given by Pinnacle's FoxTalk (at the VFP DevCon Connections 2000 event in N'Orleans), a fantastic reference for Visual FoxPro.
Once you have this book, you can log onto the Hentzenwerke web site, answer the tricky riddles, and download the CHM file. I have been told more than a few times that the CHM was the most valuable aspect of the book, and have seen many client sites where developers depend on the CHM. We've opened up the vault at TR&A and found six original copies, factory-sealed from the Hentzenwerke's vast printing facility. Yours free. First six domestic U.S. responders (direct email, please, no responses to the forum) supplying their address will get a copy. I'll ship it to you. You pay Priority Mail charges ($10.95) for packaging, shipping and handling (cash, check or money order only. No PayPal. No IOU. No hamburger today for a payment on Tuesday.) (If you prefer to be frugal, we'll use your shipment method of choice for only $175 per hour for our time. Priority Mail supplies us with boxes, labels and "if it fits, it ships"). I'm not making any money here, just trying not to lose any. This is the older version, yes, but perhaps you'll consider buying the newer ones once you try this out for free (*). Perhaps not. It's up to you. I just hate to throw these in the trash. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
