Being a native Oregonian I found Central NY winters pretty darn brutal
like you said, and the summers WAY too humid... but it was the
c-c-c-cold that finally motivated me to get my butt back out west...

Back in those days I had a Jeep CJ7 w/ a heater that was a bit sketchy,
and the snow I tracked onto the floorboards would usually stay there
until April when everything finally thawed out....  ;)
