1980's R & B music quote, but I've got a bunch of old-school tunes on the
iPod today.   I make no apologies.  lol    

Beware: a date isn't always a date, and getdate() is a datetime.   How is
the data stored?   Are you calling a stored proc or sending a sqlcommand
from VFP?
