Jerry: I'm a little confused about what you're trying to do. I'll be glad to help out if I can. I've been using MySQL since 2002 and have installed it on dozens of machines, 32-bit, 64-bit, Intel, AMD, PowerPC and RISC chips, though primarily on Linux and BSD, I do have a couple Windows installs, though I don't recommend it. MySQL has version numbers like 5.5, not 2008. Are you talking about Microsoft SQL Server, rather than MySQL? So, tell me more about the machine you're trying to install it on (CPU, RAM, brand, model) and the OS. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
