Ed,

I just discovered FreeCycle a few weeks ago. It's a pretty good place to
find and give stuff away that is no longer needed. Highly recommended.

Subject: Books are gone!

        http://twitpic.com/52b2dd

I just parted with a big chunk of my past: books that I haven't
needed for several years now. Of course, the majority were Fox books, and it
was tough to let them go (especially my copy of Hackers 3).

I had offered the books here several times, and only got one taker
for one book. I was faced with tossing them in the recycling bin as my only
option, but remembered an alternative: freecycling
(http://www.freecycle.org/).

If you have stuff that you no longer want/need, but which someone
else might want, you can post it to freecycle. I've done this also with old
computer hardware (am I really going to use that DAT drive from 1994?), and
now with these books. You should check out their site to see if there is a
freecycle group in your area.
