Hi, Ken I don't know of any reason his VFP6 app wouldn't run just fine on VFP9. (Just recompile and update the runtimes.) This is assuming it's just the data that was lost, not the source code.
My (single remaining) client's system was built in VFP6. I updated to VFP8 and then 9 with no changes, mainly to simplify my support setup. The problems I could think of would be going the other way, trying to run a VFP9 program (with things like cursor adaptors) under VFP6. Why not just give it a try?
