I came into a company that did EDI processing for a variety of companies. App was written in FPD by a brilliant man who knew how to confuse the crap out of you. One comment "Program starts here." He had passed away and all the app did was a series of selects into cursors that were then used an another selection and the first ones were dropped. Never a real name to the cursor, just a generated name, and they were numbered in an array. The same name would be resued because ti was in the array even when it was dropped. There were thousands of lines of code that identified if the order was enough to satisfy minimum requirements by mfg. Some demanded a truck at least 1/2 full or more. Others needed a pallet full. So the volume-ization of this was either a single dose or a double dose of Advil. My head is hurting just remembering that. -- Stephen Russell Unified Health Services 60 Germantown Court Suite 220 Cordova, TN 38018 Telephone: 888.510.2667 901.246-0159 cell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
