Hi Everybody, http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=44096
"Here’s a man who had the gumption to get up in the morning, buy six lobsters, two porterhouse steaks and five 24-packs of Mountain Dew, and resell them at a 100% profit. "The interesting thing here is that the government itself was actually funding the effort. You see, Louis bought all of it using his Bridge Card, i.e., the welfare debit card that replaced the old-fashioned food stamps. Louis “swiped” the food, then turned around and sold it for 50 cents on the dollar. For him, pure profit. For the government, well, it’s probably better than the usual return on its investments. For the taxpayer, the usual sham and scam." They don't say what state he is in. I don't think he could do this in Florida - or at least, not in Sarasota. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
