Check the Backstyle property of the affected controls and parent container. I'm 
going to guess it's set to Opaque. If so, flip to Transparent and see what 
happens.

Subject: Control Background Color VFP7 to VFP9

I am upgrading an application from VFP7 to VFP9 and labels, grid column 
headers, read only text boxes are coming up a different color than the page 
they are displayed on.  The page has a backcolor of 236,233,216 but it is 
actually white.  In the VFP7 application everything is 236,233,216 and displays 
properly.

I can set the backcolor of the page to correct it but I was wondering what the 
problem might be.
