The question was in response to a question from a client, he wanted to know
what we had to do to protect his computers. I did not know, and thought this
group might have better information.

Jerry - this should have been marked [NF]. But, since all have replied -
I'm dying to know - is this because you watched the Pilot of the new TV
show last night called Revolution???

I didn't watch it - but, I had been waiting for it to come on TV - and,
luckily last night at like 8pm I remembered about the show - and I used
my TiVo to prepare to record it. I even got the Seasons Pass for it. I
look forward to seeing the show - so - don't give any spoilers here if
you saw it already!

Is there any way to protect computers from the consequences of either a
natural or man-made EMP event.

Is there any reason to worry about such events?
