In manage add-ons I had shockwave enabled. Normally I disable all those. Have done so now and we shall see. I thought it was faceache at first but it happens on others too. I am tempted to ban all adobe stuff as I'm getting fed up with constant updates to flash and reader. And after all this talk before XP about not so much reboots after updates, it seems worse than ever.

Have client who gets it a lot, always traceable to some add on mainly Adobe.
One big client, a John Deere Dealership, who have to use IE as the John Deer
site they log into for spares, repair information, warranties etc. requires
it and won't work with Chrome for example.
Interestingly a number of the users there, had a problem were the Adobe PDFS
would not download.  Traced the fault to the AVG toolbar, uninstalled it and
problem was resolved.
Maybe all these Adobe updates are not just security but solving problems
like this one.
