Wow - cool - you watched the video! Yeah - building of the Bot was NUTS!!! The amount of parts, the amount of hours - it was insane.
There was actually a small resistor - in a small package made of cardboard and plastic. That package was the Size of an ANT! The Resistor within it was HALF the Size of an Ant! And - then, to make matters worse - I actually had to SOLDER it onto a motherboard! In the end - after assembling it all - it still wouldn't work. I brought it to the Maker Faire last year here in NYC - and actually had 2 different guys from MakerBot Industries try to help me on it. One of them managed to help me get the extruder heating up - which melts the plastic. But, still - I could not actually properly print an object. In the end - I brought my Bot to a dude's house in Brooklyn - where it's a row house with the garage below street level - and when he opened up the garage door - he revealed his Bot Cave with FIVE Operating Bots! I've been crankin' away on projects on my Bot ever since then!!! So - thanks for taking the time to watch the Videos about the Bot! -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dan Covill Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2012 11:43 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NF] Website Page Views Counter On 10/01/12 17:47, Kurt @ VR-FX wrote: > Which part reminds you?
