What's more astonishing are the topic that will not be addressed during
the debates by either the Democratic or Republican candidate, like
immigration, which is an important economic, moral and humanitarian
issue. Other important topic are climate change, USA defense spending,
and the high cost of health care in the USA, compared to other
countries, which provided better care at much lower cost.
Politics are the same today, as Machiavellian noted during his time.
Say an do the thing needed to win power, and then you can fulfill the
desires of your heart.

It's astonishing, seen from abroad, the importance US gives to these
debates.
It only shows who debates better, not who is right or who will
administrate the country better, or whose platform is the one you prefer.
It's just a show, and a president should not be elected by his
hability in show business.

The debate was badly moderated. Jim Lehrer, with big blue eyes so
rounded that I couldn't even see any white in them, need to back
off the coffee or something? LOL
It seems like Governor Romney was given all the advantages
including; Obama had to go first to start the debate, Governor
Romney went last to end the debate, and it didn't seem to matter
which candidate spoke first on a topic, Governor Romney always had
the last word, which often ran minutes. It would be interesting to
tally the speaking time of possession between the two candidates.

The debate last night was a replay of Foreman / Frazier. Wow.
