The wars in the Middle East have already started. Riots in Iran and Turkey firing shells into Syria. The next two years are going to be holy hell whether we enter or not.

Your idea of a debate seems to be a no holds bared cage fight. I doubt the American people would get much out of that kind of format.

The shame is, to a certain extent, the debate did follow that format. Mitt Romney did well by disregarding the rules in interrupting the President, especially when the President was to speak about something Governor Romney did not want the American people to hear. After Governor Romney hijacked a topic, he maintained it with barrage after barrage of fast talking criticisms of the President, while praising himself. Still, in all the interruptions and fast talking Governor Romney said little, if anything, about the details of how he plans to run the country, which is scary.

I fear Governor Romney might start more wars in the middle east, especially Iran, as about 2/3 of his foreign policy advisers are Neocons from the Bush era. Although governor Romney doesn't like the term, Neocon, he does like the Neoconservative philosophy and the Neocons seem to have gotten into his head.
