The important thing is to keep the USA economy churning along, employment
high, GNP growing in the 3% to 4% range, and allow everyone to share
fairly in the prosperity, including those who need charitable help.
The national debt could then be paid down through a civilized income tax
system that spread the tax burden fairly and humanely , coupled with a
fiscally responsible government.
