Hi Tracy,
Set the editbox backstyle to 0 - Transparent. ------------------ I thought the same thing and did try it with a copy of Sytze's form but it didn't work for me. It's conceivable that I flubbed setting up the test case with just 1 column, even though I tried to be careful. The grid was created with the grid builder which doesn't work as we would by using code to first remove the textboxes and then add the editboxes (the standard method I've been using). In the builder generated grid, there are both textboxes and editboxes added to each column and it appears that's a factor in the dynamicbackcolor code not working. As one way to get past this, I suggested that he re-create the grid without the editboxes, given the controlsource for the columns is a character field that textboxes can handle (albeit with text formatting considerations that will have to be dealt with) . I did create and send a sample grid (without using the builder) that demonstrates the dynamicbackcolor code submitted does work on a grid created without the editboxes (and with the same controlsources) Bill _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
