You don't 'protect' an embassy with F16s. Perhaps a better way of protecting embassies is to stop secret rendition, torture and illegal detention. Maybe stop interfering in the legitimate process of foreign governments. These are the actions that put your embassies at risk. Why do you think Canada and France and other countries doesn't have these problems? Perhaps because they aren't constantly invading other countries. Don't get me wrong. Im a great supporter of USA but in the last 10-15 years you have really lost your way. Can you imagine having this discussion 15 years ago and hinting that America condones torture, illegal kidnap and imprisonment, denial of due process and extra-judicial killing? You would have laughed at it. Now, you sit around and support it.
That's how you protect your embassies.
