Hi Proftpd Developers,

I encountered a strange linkage of proftpd code in module
mod_sql_mysql.c where in comment, they have put down the Libraries to
link against, and from Makefile/configure grepping the libraries name
by doing a cat of module_name.c and grep Libraries+sed, and linking
against it. Isn't this a brain dead thing, a stupid way of doing
things for the sake of portability?
It took me a while to find out from where all the modules of proftpd
is linking against ssl and crypto. Please pull down such codes
immediately. They are braindead, braindead, braindead.....DO I NEED TO
REPEAT MORE.

Please don't add to people's agony and waste of time by releasing such
software for the sake of portability and Maintenance of Makefile. A
Bug can easily creep in, by such design. Autotool itself is full of
gotchas and on top of that proftpd's unique way of linkage to library.
