I'am curently working on 2.4.5-pre6-xfs-LIDS-OW-getrewted ( nice one ;-]
isn't it ? )kernel on my Progeny box witchout any problems.
I'am not using default .config from progeny packages ( because why ;-> ? ).
But it dose not matter what config file you are using. ( have you not forgot
about make oldconfig ? ).
Maby if you give some more info about yours problems, I could be helpful.
