The following happens on only one of my three progeny boxes. I have
already tried "apt-get install --reinstall xbase-clients proxymngr
xfree86-common" (the three packages that come up on an apt-cache search
for xbase-clients) to no avail. Ideas?

Found what appears to be a valid /etc/postfix/main.cf: assuming that
everything is properly configured.
