Hello, I saw an impressive Progeny installation a few minutes ago. Video adapter, sound card, ethernet card, wheel mouse detected correctly. Congratulations! There was one minor issue: gpm was configured with -Rms3 and X was using /dev/psaux. This works unreliable. The nice solution (going with X to /dev/gpm) did not work for me. Therefore I removed -Rms3 and now everything seems to work excellent. Congratulations again! Rainer. PS: There are unmaintained nis+ packages in # NIS+ deb http://www.realbodo.de/ debian/ deb-src http://www.realbodo.de/ debian/ They could be quite useful for a commercial distribution, if you want to embed into a Solaris network.
