Why would one want to? Aside from Red Carpet, I believe that
Progeny offers everything that is in Gnome 1.4 and associated
aps that Ximian offers. If you have Gnome installed in Progeny
just connect to the internet and run apt-get dist-upgrade.
However, if you really want to install Ximian Gnome:
(1) Add the normal Debian lines to /etc/apt/sources.list.
Ximian's Gnome requires some Debian packages that are not
included in Progeny.
(2) Be aware that many Progeny programs many no longer function
properly (for me it was the Progeny configuration modules in the
Gnome configuration ap).
(3) Follow the instructions in the FAQ on Progeny's web site.
FWIW, installing Ximian Gnome on top of Progeny which was
upgraded to from Potato which was upgraded to from Stormix was
the straw that convinced me to tar /home, fdisk, and reinstall
Linux.
